Melissa is currently a full-time Police Officer for the City of Two Rivers Police Department in Two Rivers, WI. Melissa has been an officer for 18 years and has served as a patrol officer, school resource officer, drug investigator and is currently a detective lieutenant. Melissa has obtained multiple instructor certifications and is also a member of the county’s SWAT team, a crime scene investigator, homicide investigator, arson investigator, field training officer, school safety team member, CISM & LEDR team member, peer support trainer and coordinator and crisis negotiator among others. Melissa has been awarded two lifesaving awards, Officer of the Year and the Attorney General’s Top Cop award. Melissa has her Associates Degree in Criminal Justice, her bachelor’s degree in psychology and her master’s degree in Counseling.
