The Introduction to Behavioral Threat Assessment in the Workplace curriculum can be taken by any employee in a workplace for knowledge on what a Behavioral Threat Assessment is, how to build a Behavioral Threat Assessment team, and considerations for assessments and Individualized Management Plans. These courses are awareness courses, for general understanding by employees on Behavioral Threat Assessment and, hopefully, help prevent violence from happening in the workplace.
By the end of the courses, they will be able to:
Define Behavioral Threat Assessment and explain the benefit of adopting a Behavioral Threat Assessment team in the workplace.
Identify considerations when conducting an assessment.
Explain what to include in an Individualized Management Plan to help employees identified in an assessment.
