NTAC Training

This 2-part training program is designed for convenience and flexibility, blending online and in-person (live or virtual) learning. Upon completion of both Level 1 and Level 2, teams are qualified to implement threat assessment protocols aligned with the NTAC model.

NTAC Training Level 1

NTAC Level 1

This asynchronous online course, lasting 4–6 hours, delivers an in-depth presentation of the NTAC-aligned approach. Participants move at their own pace through five modules narrated by Dr. Marisa Randazzo, learning to identify, screen, gather, analyze, assess, and manage students of concern. Completion of Level 1 and a final exam qualifies learners for Level 2 Training.

NTAC Level 2

This 4-hour workshop, conducted virtually or in person by trained facilitators, applies the principles learned in Level 1. Participants work through case exercises and team-based collaboration to build analysis and response skills. Upon completing Level 2, teams are equipped to apply the NTAC model accurately in various situations within their schools.

NTAC for Law Enforcement in Schools

In this one-hour, self-paced, online course, law enforcement officers learn about the NTAC-aligned threat assessment process and their role within multi-disciplinary teams. Officers gain insights into how to collaborate effectively with schools to strengthen threat detection and intervention.

A former Chief Research Psychologist for the U.S. Secret Service and Director of the National Threat Assessment Center, Dr. Randazzo is a leading expert in behavioral threat assessment and targeted violence prevention. She has advised schools, corporations, and government agencies nationwide.

Margaret H. Coggins, Ph.D.
