The Understanding Opioid Addiction course can be taken by any Administrator, Teacher, or Support Staff for knowledge and resources on how to recognize, and hopefully, help prevent addiction in their students. Learners who take this course will also gain an understanding of how to begin the road to recovery.
By the end of the course, learners will be able to:
- Define addiction and describe why opioid addiction is considered an epidemic
- Recognize addiction in yourself, a loved one, or a student and locate help
- Identify how your workplace can assist you or a loved one with addiction
