Eric attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania for Criminology and the Allegheny County Police Academy. He is certified through the Pennsylvania Municipal Police Officers Education and Training Commission. Eric has been a Police Officer for the past 16 years. The last 14 years, he has been employed by the North Strabane Township Police Department located in Canonsburg, PA. Currently he is assigned as the School Resource Officer at the Canon-McMillan School District. During his career he has worked in patrol and investigations. Eric has worked undercover in narcotics as a Detective for the Washington County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force. Currently he is assigned as an agent on the D.U.I. Task Force.

In July 2015, Eric was awarded the Exceptional Service Award by the National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO). In December 2016, Eric was awarded the “”Paul Harris Recognition”” award by the Canonsburg, Houston, Southpointe Rotary Club.

Eric has taken over 600 hours of specialized training focusing on school safety. Eric is a member of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and investigates internet crimes against children. Eric works alongside with the Washington Drug and Alcohol Commission in prevention.
